PIANEGONDA CELEBRATES URBAN ART AND DESIGN JEWELRY AT MILAN FASHION WEEK
A perfect fusion of contemporary art and design jewelry came to life on February 26 at the Pianegonda Boutique on Via Gesù, during Milan Fashion Week.
The exclusive event featured street artist Mr. Savethewall, who captivated guests with an extraordinary live performance, painting his iconic frog on canvas. This symbol of modern man, hiding his authenticity behind social masks while wearing the brand’s design jewelry, paid tribute to creativity and free expression.
A unique and immersive experience, in collaboration with the prestigious Deodato Arte Gallery, reflecting the essence of the brand—where creativity and experimentation merge to give life to timeless creations.
Mr. Savethewall, the pseudonym of Pierpaolo Perretta, is an Italian artist from Como known for his ethical approach to street art. Opposed to defacing urban walls, he uses removable and recyclable materials such as adhesive tape and cardboard, placing respect for the urban environment at the heart of his art. His works carry a strong sense of criticism and irony towards contemporary society, addressing current issues with clear and provocative messages. Mr. Savethewall is one of the leading figures of the Post-Street Art movement, which brings street art from city walls to museums and art galleries.
The event welcomed an international audience of guests from the worlds of fashion, television, and cinema, including Maria Vittoria Paolillo, Ginevra Ferro, Flavio Pagni, the Toledo Sisters, Alessandra Giglioli, and many others.
During the evening, the new Amatum capsule collection was unveiled—an ode to freedom of expression and love in all its forms. The jewelry in the collection, distinguished by a double-faced design, represents the balance between what we show to the world and what we keep inside, perfectly expressing the versatility and authenticity of those who wear it.
An event that masterfully combined art, experimentation, and design, reaffirming Pianegonda’s role as a leading name in contemporary jewelry.
Milan Fashion Week continues for Pianegonda on Saturday, March 1, when the brand will be a partner of an exclusive cocktail event promoted by Camera Showroom Milano to celebrate NEOMODA, a retrospective dedicated to the first avant-garde fashion exhibition held in Milan in March 1986. A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the history and innovation of fashion design alongside key industry figures.
