On Thursday, June 26, “The Night of Independence” took place at Rinascente Milan—a special charity evening organized by San Patrignano on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event was held in collaboration with Pianegonda, who supported this important initiative by standing alongside the community in promoting a new culture of awareness and prevention.

The evening gathered prominent figures from the worlds of culture, fashion, music, and business, all united by a common goal: to support youth prevention and reinforce the values of independence, solidarity, and inclusion.

All proceeds from the evening were donated to the Wefree project, San Patrignano’s initiative dedicated to preventing addiction in Italian schools. Thanks to the funds raised, the community will be able to enhance its educational efforts and respond to the numerous requests coming from students and teachers across Italy.

Pianegonda had the honor of participating with a special table, hosting notable guests such as Italian singer BigMama, brand ambassador and a powerful, authentic voice of Italy’s new music scene. Her presence helped reinforce the evening’s message: to believe in the beauty of life and in the power of awareness.

During the dinner, members of the San Patrignano community spoke, along with a young woman who shared her personal story of rebirth. In addition, the 2025 Addiction Observatory was presented, highlighting the growing emergency surrounding the use of crack and cocaine among young people.

Pianegonda, long committed to social and cultural issues, is proud to have taken part in this initiative—reaffirming its dedication to supporting concrete projects that focus on people and their journeys of growth.
